Typical uses include medium to high power DC/RF/microwave circuits. AlN offers high thermal conductivity paired with a low thermal coefficient similar to that of Silicon. Aluminum Nitride’s ability to dissipate heat in circuits assures proper circuit function, improves reliability and extends mean times between failures. AlN has a high thermal shock resistance and is non-reactive with normal semiconductor processes, chemicals or gases. Aluminum Nitride (AlN) is available as 170 W/mk, 200 W/mk, and 230 W/mk. We offer as honed, lapped and polished substrates. The material can be processed to thicknesses of .004” to .100” in various sizes. **Aluminum Nitride (AlN) standard sizes available:** 4.50" x 4.50" square to 1.00" x 1.00" square in thicknesses form .004" thru .100" **Custom sizes are available upon request.
