It offers broad spectral transmission combined with high thermal conductivity, high strength, and high temperature capability. Synthetic Sapphire is one of the most chemically durable materials known.  Sapphire is available in A Plane and C Plane. We offer lapped, polished 80/50 optical, 60/40 optical, and 20/10 optical finishes as well as edge polishing. **Custom sizes are available upon request.
