Synthetic Sapphire is a transparent single crystal form of 99.99% pure Al2O3. It offers broad spectral transmission combined with high thermal conductivity, high strength, and high temperature capability. Synthetic Sapphire is one of the most chemically durable materials known.
Sapphire is available in A Plane and C Plane. We offer lapped, polished 80/50 optical, 60/40 optical, and 20/10 optical finishes as well as edge polishing.
